Why Take Stretch Breaks?

Prolonged sitting or screen time can lead to muscle stiffness, poor posture, and repetitive strain injuries. Regular stretch breaks—even as brief as 30 seconds—increase blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and help maintain flexibility. Studies show that micro-breaks throughout the day improve both physical comfort and mental focus.

How This Tool Works

Choose a reminder interval (from 15 to 60 minutes) and press Start. When the countdown reaches zero, an audio alert plays and a new stretch suggestion appears. The tool cycles through a variety of stretches targeting neck, shoulders, wrists, back, and legs—all suitable for performing at a desk.

Desk-Friendly Stretches

The stretch library includes neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, wrist circles, seated spinal twists, forward folds, chest openers, hip flexor stretches, and ankle rotations. Each stretch is designed to be done while seated or standing near your workspace, requiring no special equipment.
